The last day shuffle, the departure , the travel.

Sicky Vicky, the day we finally started antibiotics. Oliver has refused food for a day, had one bottle and was so flaccid he didn't really even scratch himself.  We determined, sick. Administer drugs. Day and half later he was back to himself.
Wanted to buy these. Of course, "not for sale"
Trash pile. Just because
If i see or smell another fish tank shrimp I'm gonna barf for sure. They sneak that shit in everywhere.
My china nails. Red for good luck.

Which reminds me of a funny story in our trip that I meant to record earlier so  I wouldn't forget.

We were on our way back from visiting Oliver's foster home and applying for his passport ( a two hr car ride both ways) and mike and neha were sitting in the back of the car with the window open. They were rough housing , which is standard with " those " two..
squeels and grunts, wrestle , wrestle ... and neha bumps mikes hat off which was sitting on his back pack and it flys out the window.

On the freeway.
Between Luoyang and zhengzhou.
" Aaooo! " mike says upruptly.

Neha apologized multiple times ( which is huge for her) definitely her biggest weakness is   Admitting fault and apologizing or "making it right
mike says, "well I only have one hat left and its yellow. I hope that doesn't mean bad luck or something."
I said ask our guide Michael, he will know.  Michael the guide for us in Zhengzhou,  turned slightly so we could barely here him and described. "no yellow is not bad luck, no, in Chinese culture the color yellow is for higher people's, like emperors and leaders, so no it's not bad luck. It's just if if you wear it and you are not one of those people you will be killed".

And that was it.

Stuff I wish I bought. Crap.

Finally fingered out the falling down diaper thing.
Tiny suspenders. Should have bought a few pairs.

Nehas Mohawk

Shopping day with private guide. Ann from Red Thread, amazing person and without her we would have come home with little to no goods and definitely over paid on some goods.
Street hot dog roll up. Considered it for iron guy neha.
Lanterns in the trees.
Tiny penis alert.
Ease of a good junk itch.

Our shopping guide. Really fell in love with her . Thanks Ann, thanks for your help with neha and your special skills! We really enjoyed you. Ann also sent Oliver a soft translated book with pictures of our family a week before we got there.

Missed the best picture, but the one above will have to do. The guy at the knock off purse tiny cubicle cleaning some scuffs off my new fab bag... All the while he was chain smoking with a grannie ash hanging over new purse.
The BBG's. as Vanessa calls it. Bubble gut.
Took this picture for nana. Oliver entrenched, enthralled and entranced watching Nadal play in the French Open tennis match.

Time to go home, only one bar left on my sonicare.. Not cool
Airport bound, 24 hrs of travel time awaited us.
Airport in guangzhou .
Mikey and I were charged with promise of seeing Lucy and Charlotte. We were fearful of traveling with these two.  Expect the worst was a good motto. There is nothing, I mean nothing awesome about across the world travel. The destination is your only motivation.
I remember saying out loud to myself and Oliver when we boarded the first of four airplanes.
" Peace the f#+k out china.  Maybe see you never"
